The Survival Center at the September 2011 Franklin County Fair
Clare Baker is the grandprize winner of the $500 jackpot!
Clare received her prize at the Franklin Area Survival Center early Monday morning (Sept. 9).

A young boy kept coming back to our booth each day to take part in the whale game for children.
Each child that came to our booth was able to pick a whale and was given a prize corresponding with the number on the bottom of the whale.
We gave away hundreds of planes, slinkies and bubbles!

The Franklin Area Survival Center Celebrates 30th Year
On July 9th 2011 the Franklin Area Survival Center celebrated our 30th year. There was an open house and State Senator Stan Rosenberg appeared at the event. The center will unveiled a special honor thanking our volunteers of 5 years or more. WHAI Radio was onsite with their remote talking with people and they played some great music. People who attended met some of our board of directors.
